Double lines for the border guided by the best invention ever ‘masking tape’.
Because I don’t like to draw on the quilts I use masking tape as my guide.
Adding some feathers around the appliqué.
Pretty happy with this so far.
I like how they look against the straight lines.
More matching feathers in the bowl to keep it consistent.
The tricky part is doing the straight lines around the appliqué pieces, again I use masking tape as my guide.
Its starting to look really good, I’m about 17 hours in and I’m not even a quarter of the way through so I think it is going to be quite the quilting journey!

Quilted a little something in this border area.
Decided to go with some straight lines in the black section to mirror the black border.
