I love my ‘Flowering Wreath’ quilt and I never get sick of making it, this will be the fourth one I have made.
I wanted to make this one dark and moody, so I chose Anna Maria Horner fabrics and a dark blue for the background.
I love sorting the fabrics into colour ways, seeing what works and what doesn’t.
I love to make up each flower as I go along, they make me happy and it helps me to see what fabric I should use next.
The pile of petals is growing, just like a garden!
…. and where there are flowers, there are leaves!
Working on one quarter at a time.
Until it is finished.
Let’s start the quilting!
and she is finished…… and she is so beautiful!!
Pieced a quick back, using one of my favourite AMH fabrics.
Those petals are just popping off the quilt!
That’s a wrap!
This pattern is available in my shop as a download and as a paper pattern.

I have buckets of scrapes sorted by color, NOW I know what my next project will be using them. Best of all I don’t need to precut until I’m ready to make a flower. This is truly inspirational. Thank you for sharing. P. S. I love free motion quilting and yours is beyond words.
