15. Harlequin Garland Pattern
$17.50
This pattern comes as a digital download emailed to you after purchase or as a printed paper pattern posted to you. Choose which one you would like in the ‘options’ tab.
I wanted to make a smaller project as a lead into some of my larger appliqué designs. This project is the perfect size for a portable hand project. The pattern comes with instructions for both ‘raw edge’ applique and basic instructions for ‘needle turn’ applique. If you choose the ‘raw edge’ method of applique you can machine sew the pieces onto the background fabric or sew the applique piece onto the background by hand, using a blanket stitch. I have sewn the appliqué on by hand on another project and the results were just beautiful.
There are acrylic templates for purchase in my shop if you would prefer them over making your own.
